Deep Tissue Massage

This style of massage concentrates on relieving restrictions and discomfort from knots in muscles using trigger point therapy, myofacial release and neuromuscular (deep tissue) massage techniques.
Deep Tissue Massage is often used for chronic pain management and injury rehabilitation.

Shorter sessions focus on a specific area of your body, while longer sessions allow for full body therapy.

Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese word for “Universal Life Energy”. Reiki is a gentle form of energy work that can be incorporated into a massage session or can be a session all unto itself. It balances and restores your body’s universal life force energy that all of us possess, but rarely tap into. Reiki works on the mind, body and spirit.

Your therapist is also happy to incorporate Reiki into any bodywork session for no additional charge.

Hot Stone Massage

Heated stones are placed on specific areas of the body, while other heated stones are held in the practitioner's hands while massage is being applied. The warmth that comes from the stones greatly enhances a soothing massage. Cold stones can also be used during a massage session to soothe inflammation in overworked muscles. This technique can be deep and penetrating to relieve substantial tension or it can be calming and gentle to warmly reduce stress.

East Meets West Massage

A combination of Eastern and Western styles and techniques that flow together to provide peace and relaxation. Moderate pressure is used to work out muscle strains and knots. Essential oils are used to further enhance and promote this process.

Neuromuscular Massage

Soft tissue manipulation using a specialized sequence of massage strokes. This therapy is designed to re-activate the brain for new learning resulting in correction for neuro-muscular imbalances. A series of four treatments are recommended.

Initial Acupuncture Appointment

Consists of an initial consultation plus a full acupuncture treatment including adjunctive techniques such as moxabustion and cupping, if appropriate. Herbal prescriptions are included with this service for those interested in adding herbal therapy to their treatment. The cost of herbs is not included.

Your first session may last up to 90 minutes.

Follow-up Acupuncture Appointment

A standard follow-up acupuncture appointment for current clients including appropriate adjunctive techniques. Herbal prescriptions are offered with this service if desired. The cost of herbs is not included.

Follow-up sessions may last up to 60 minutes.

Initial Herbal Consultation

This one hour appointment is for new clients interested only in herbal therapy. Please schedule this appointment if this is your first appointment with our acupuncturist. Herbs cost approximately $15 to $25 per week and are not included with this price.

Follow up Herbal Appointment

This half hour appointment is for current acupuncture and/or herbal clients who are only interested in herbal therapy. This price does not include the cost of herbs.

Spa Foot Treatment

Do you think that the best part of a massage is having your feet massaged? If so, this is is the perfect treatment for you! Your session begins with a gentle exfoliation of your feet and calves, using our signature sea salt and olive butter blend. Next, a refreshing masque is applied to your feet and they are wrapped in steamy warm towels. Your treatment finishes with a thorough foot massage that will leave you relaxed and refreshed. This is a terrific treatment on its own, or can be added to any massage session.

Aroma Steam Treatment

Heat yourself to the core with a steam treatment. We use a specially designed canopy that allows you to receive your steam treatment while lying comfortably and privately on the massage table. Your head remains outside the heat, allowing you to breathe cool air and enjoy a scalp and face massage throughout your session. Your session includes time for a refreshing shower after your steam treatment.

Bodywrap with Aroma Steam

Experience the relaxing and cleansing effect of a bodywrap. This gentle treatment warms, stimulates, and detoxifies. A bodywrap session includes exfoliating the skin, followed by the application of your choice of a mixture of herbs, aromatherapy oils, super green sea algae or warmed botanical mud. You will then enjoy a gentle steam in our steam canopy, which helps the mixture to absorb into your skin and encourages a mild sweat that allows your body to naturally detoxify. Afterwards the mixture is washed off and a moisturizer is massaged in, leaving your skin feeling soft and your body energized.

Initial Hypnotherapy Appointment

Your first appointment includes an in depth intake interview where your goals are discussed, hypnosis is fully explained and any misconceptions or fears you may have will be addressed. Then you'll be guided into the deep relaxation of hypnosis. The session will last approximately 90 minutes. One session is frequently all that is needed.

Follow Up Hypnotherapy Appointment

Follow up appointments are necessary for deeply ingrained behaviors. Smoking cessation and weight loss are a couple of examples where additional sessions are needed.
